Residential Care Industry Key Performance Indicators

The residential care industry has a high degreee of legislation that needs to be complied with. This is especially true of residential care of children where the DWP (formerly the DSS) is involved. Aged residential care is interesting as the residents are mostly very long term and for smaller care homes a small number of very ill residents can skew the care KPIs significantly. These KPIs are generally very slow to change so usually the most frequently they will need to be measured is monthly.
