Residential Care Industry Key Performance Indicators
The residential care industry has a high degree of legislation that needs to be
complied with. This is especially true of residential care of children where the
DWP (formerly the DSS) is involved. Aged residential care is interesting as the
residents are mostly very long term and for smaller care homes a small number of
very ill residents can skew the care KPIs significantly. These slow changing KPIs
will normally only require monthly measuring.
