What we do

Design and host databases / data warehouses
Integrate and consolidate the data - anything from EPOS data, call centre data across to financial data
Provide front end web-based tools to access the data from dashboards for executives to general system operational reports
Facilitate KPI discovery sessions to enable management to decide critical KPIs for their business
Provide the ability to do in-depth online analytical processing (OLAP)

We use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for our hosted solution. It is the fastest growing Business Intelligence solution worldwide (OLAP market share trend) and includes Integration Services, Analaysis Services and Reporting Services
We also use Open Source technologies where appropriate, in particular PERL where there is a specific requirement e.g. extracting unclean or loosely structured flat files
Report delivery could be through Microsoft Reporting Services or a bespoke front end which we have designed using .NET technology
User defined reports on OLAP data sources can be built using RSInteract
For OLAP analysis we recommend Microsoft Analysis Services and relavent client tool
Security is all managed through SQL Server and can be defined all the way down to the individual user level

We offer consulting for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and, unlike the hosted option, we rely on you to license the hardware and software on your own servers
We would create the specification and design of the data warehouse and implement the solution
We would normally require the ability to remote connect to your server(s) until the project has been completed
